Our client provides Supported Independent Living (SIL) and disability services across metropolitan Adelaide. With a strong commitment to person‑centred care, they ensure every individual receives support tailored to their unique needs and goals.

About the Role

As a SIL Team Leader, you will provide frontline leadership and coordination to support workers, ensuring services are delivered in line with client plans, NDIS requirements, and organisational standards. This role reports to the Services Manager and requires flexibility across a rotating roster.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading, supervising, and supporting staff to deliver consistent, safe, and quality care.

  • Coordinating and overseeing day‑to‑day support services, including direct client support when required.

  • Managing rosters to ensure service coverage, including shift replacements.

  • Providing guidance on performance, interpersonal issues, and behavioural matters.

  • Monitoring documentation and case records to ensure accuracy and compliance.

  • Building collaborative relationships with peers, staff, families, and stakeholders.

About You

We are seeking an experienced leader with:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in disability support or a related care environment.

  • Strong disability awareness and understanding of the impact on individuals, families, and communities.

  • Proven ability to build effective teams and manage staff performance.

  • Initiative and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to act decisively.

  • Experience supporting people with disability through personal care, developmental opportunities, and community engagement.

  • Attention to detail in documentation and compliance.

  • Confidence using technology including laptops, service iPads, and Microsoft Outlook.

  • Administrative and clerical experience to support service delivery.

Essential: Certificate III in Community Services, Disability, or equivalent qualification. Desirable: Certificate IV in Leadership and Management.
