Are you an enthusiastic, qualified, and empathetic support worker?  If so we want you to join our team for evening and night shifts NOW across the Riverland.

This role requires you to have availability to meet the evening and night support needs of clients and the organisation. While All Areas Care and Support operate across the full week – 24/7 – this role supports clients into and through the night.

This is an exciting opportunity for passionate Support Workers with relevant experience in supporting people living with disability to join our dynamic and passionate evening and night shift team to support participants’ goals and activities.

You will support NDIS participants to bring their NDIS goals to life through direct support and your commitment.

Staff training and educational opportunities are provided to enhance your skills and ensure compliance with all NDIS requirements.

  • Available to work 6.00pm – 10.00am including sleepovers
  • Able to build rapport and demonstrate empathy.
  • Support and collaborate with participants to bring their NDIS plan alive in new and exciting ways.
  • Have strong community links, networks and interaction.
  • Experience working in people’s homes and the community.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A positive approach to the rights of people with disabilities and an understanding of the NDIS.
  • Certificate III Individual Support.
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting NDIS participants with complex needs.
  • Must hold or be willing to undertake relevant clearances (DHS |Police | NDIS | Working With Children Check))
  • Driving License.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates
  • Medication administration certificate / or willingness to acquire it.
  • Attend scheduled training
  • Maintain registrations and qualifications.
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
  • MAPA (Management of Actual or Potential Aggression) training is an advantage
