The V.I.P. Commercial Cleaning division provides cleaning and other services to the corporate and SME sector across Australia.

We are seeking an experienced Sales and Operations Manager, who will be responsible for the regional growth and performance of V.I.P. Commercial Cleaning.

Reporting to the General Manager Commercial Cleaning and working alongside the National Sales and Operations Manager, your duties will involve managing a portfolio of sites, ensuring high-quality cleaning services are always provided effectively and efficiently to our clients, with a strong focus on relationship building. You will also be responsible for supporting our existing clients and franchise owners, as well as identifying new opportunities for future growth.

  • Grow V.I.P. Commercial Cleaning by quoting and winning new client work and managing the ongoing client relationship.
  • Facilitate the Commercial Cleaning sales process.
  • Pitch and promote V.I.P. value and benefits to prospective clients.
  • Prepare commercially viable cleaning tenders/quotes/proposals in a timely manner that is in line with the V.I.P. service offering.
  • Influence and negotiate commercial scope and terms including mitigating any blockers that may limit the sale opportunity.
  • Facilitate the initiation process including the onboarding of new clients.
  • Identify targeted product sales promotion and campaigns.
  • Provide sales reporting.
  • Prospect and identify new service sales opportunities.
  • Facilitate the onboarding, induction, training, and start-up of new franchisees.
  • Problem solve compliance related issues and challenges.
  • Monitor, mentor, and train franchisees, assisting them in building their business.
  • Promote and manage the submission processes of the franchisee Referral Program.
  • Act as the first point of contact for our clients and franchise owners.
  • Undertake people management, including administration functions and on-going training.
  • Co-ordinate periodic and extra works.
  • Conduct routine cleaning audits.
  • Network within our existing client base for new business opportunities.
  • Demonstrated experience in sales and account management, preferably in the franchising industry.
  • Demonstrated and seasoned experience in Stakeholder Engagement – from sales-related relationship building, influencing, negotiating, and closing, through to account management – business advisory and support to initiate, influence and build relationships with varying stakeholders and clients.
  • Experience in operationalizing and delivering on high-level sales strategies or targets; translate to tactical requirements and ensure local execution and business impact.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks; proven strong organizational and project management skills in a customer-focused environment.
  • Agile, self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively.
  • High level of motivation.
  • Ability to work in a diverse and fast-paced environment.

This role may occasionally require some after-hours work and training, as well as travel to and from clients. The successful applicant will need to be contactable outside of normal business hours.
