Virginia Nursery – Nursery Hand – Casual (Immediate Start)

Northern Adelaide | Monday–Friday | Day Shifts

Love working outdoors and staying active? We’re looking for reliable Nursery Hands to join Virginia Nursery, a busy horticulture operation supplying wholesale plants.

This is a hands-on, physical role suited to people who enjoy routine, teamwork, and getting stuck into a productive day’s work.

What you’ll be doing

  • General nursery and outdoor work

  • Handling, moving, and caring for plants

  • Order preparation and basic quality checks

  • Assisting with deliveries and pick-ups

  • Maintaining clean, safe work areas

  • Supporting daily nursery operations

What we’re looking for

You don’t need formal qualifications — just a good attitude and strong work ethic.

We’re keen to hear from people who are:

  • Reliable and punctual

  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather

  • Physically fit for active, full-day shifts

  • Able to follow instructions and work in a team

  • Willing to learn and pitch in

Bonus points (not essential):

  • Forklift licence

  • Nursery, horticulture, farming, labouring, or warehouse experience
