Salary: $75,000 + commissions + super

Are you passionate about building relationships, improving member retention, and driving engagement? We are looking for a Member Relations Officer to join our team and play a key role in supporting and growing our valued membership base.

About the Role

As a Membership Relations Officer, you will be responsible for enhancing member engagement, managing renewals, and handling membership debt recovery to ensure the long-term satisfaction and retention of our members. You will work closely with the marketing, member services, and leadership teams to implement strategies that improve member experiences and financial stability.

This is a full-time, office-based role with on-site parking available. A company laptop will be provided to support your work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with members via phone and email to ensure satisfaction and resolve concerns
  • Develop retention strategies to improve membership engagement and renewals
  • Manage outstanding payments and work with members to resolve financial obligations
  • Support membership renewals by proactively reaching out to members before their term ends
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless membership processes and support business growth
  • Maintain accurate member records in the CRM

About You

  • 2-3 years of experience in a membership-based organisation, customer service, or retention-focused role
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Experience in membership debt management or payment recovery is highly regarded
  • Ability to handle sensitive conversations with professionalism and empathy
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
  • Highly organised with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Experience with CRM software and membership management systems is a plus
