The Role

As our Safety Coordinator, you’ll be the cornerstone of our safety culture, ensuring every project meets the highest safety and compliance standards. Working across diverse sites, you’ll partner with supervisors, subcontractors, and management to proactively address safety challenges and implement practical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain SWMS, risk registers, and safety procedures.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
• Support supervisors with on-site safety management.
• Onboard subcontractors and ensure compliance with client and WHS requirements.
• Lead incident investigations (ICAM training desirable).
• Deliver engaging internal safety programs and identify training needs.
• Prepare safety reports for management and stakeholders.

What You’ll Bring

• Experience: 3-5 years in construction safety, with field experience in high-risk environments.
• Qualifications: Cert IV in WHS (Diploma desirable), First Aid, and Working with Children clearance.
• Systems Expertise: Rapid Global experience (essential) and familiarity with Sitebook (highly desirable).
• Skills: Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership abilities.
• Mindset: Proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about fostering a safe work culture.
