Premier Building Solutions (PBS) is an established construction company delivering building, refurbishment and upgrade works across South Australia.
Our projects span a mix of sectors including government housing upgrades, education facilities, commercial refurbishments and general building maintenance. Much of our work involves improving existing buildings, so we are looking for someone who enjoys practical problem solving and takes pride in doing the job properly.
With a steady pipeline of work ahead, we are now looking to bring a qualified Carpenter into the team to support our supervisors and project managers across a number of sites.
This is a hands-on role and would suit someone who enjoys variety rather than being tied to the same type of job every week.
The Role
You will be working alongside our site supervisors and project teams carrying out carpentry and general building work across a range of refurbishment and upgrade projects.
Day-to-day tasks are likely to include:
General carpentry works
Refurbishment and upgrade works to existing buildings
Structural carpentry and framing where required
Installation of doors, windows and internal finishes
Rectification and maintenance works
Supporting supervisors to keep projects running safely and on programme
Most projects are located across the Adelaide metropolitan area.
About You
We are looking for someone dependable who takes pride in the quality of their work and can work well within a small team.
You will ideally bring:
A trade qualification in Carpentry
Experience working on residential, commercial or refurbishment projects
The ability to read drawings and work independently when required
Good attention to detail and a practical approach to problem solving
White Card
Current driver’s licence
Min Certificate III in Carpentry to be completed
Experience working on upgrade or maintenance style projects would be beneficial, although it is not essential.
What PBS Offers
In return, PBS offers stable employment and the opportunity to be part of a growing business.
You can expect:
Full-time employment (may include out of hours and regional work)
A range of different projects rather than repetitive site work
A supportive team environment
Competitive remuneration based on experience
Wellbeing Support – Access to a 24/7 Employee Assistance Program
Financial Tools – tailored superannuation sessions to support your financial future
Career Growth – ongoing learning and internal promotion pathways
We are a practical, straightforward team and value people who turn up, do their work well and support those around them.
How to Apply
If you are a qualified carpenter looking for a stable role with a company that delivers a variety of projects across Adelaide, we would welcome your application.
Please submit your resume through SEEK outlining your experience and qualifications.
