BoraCare is looking for an energetic Assistant Payroll & Accounts Officer to join our dynamic team

As the Assistant Payroll & Accounts Officer, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting our Payroll & Accounts Lead. Your focus will be on delivering precise payroll processing, managing company deductions, and ensuring financial transactions are executed efficiently and in compliance with industry regulations.

  • Payroll Excellence: Manage end-to-end payroll services, ensuring timely and accurate remuneration for staff. Handle tax withholdings, superannuation, and compliance with all relevant legislation.
  • Data Management: Assist with payroll data entry, reconciliation, and month-end/year-end functions. Keep employee records and payroll details up to date.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyse financial reports, including profitability and staff activity reports. Support financial monitoring and expenditure compliance.
  • Accounts Management: Oversee accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing and reconciliation. Maintain supplier and accommodation databases.
  • Administrative Duties: Update employee information, manage database registers, and handle general administrative tasks such as phone enquiries and filing.
  • Qualifications: Relevant finance/accounting certification or qualification (desirable).

    Experience: Background in data input, payroll, or accounting. Familiarity with Xero or similar systems is a plus.

    Skills: High attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage strict deadlines. Knowledge of SCHADS Award and NDIS pricing arrangements is beneficial.
