Assembly Worker | Join a High-Quality Local Manufacturing Team

Are you experienced in production and assembly work? Do you enjoy working as part of a team, but also take pride in your ability to get things done independently? Heatlie is looking for a reliable and capable Assembly Worker to join our team in North Plympton.

We’re a South Australian family business with over 40 years of experience manufacturing durable barbecues and custom metal products. With a team of 33, we’re big enough to tackle great projects — but small enough that every person’s contribution matters.

The Opportunity

This is a full-time role for someone who knows their way around production work. You’ll be responsible for assembling parts, following job instructions, and working as part of a team to meet production targets. At times, you may be required to work independently, so we’re looking for someone who’s self-motivated, takes initiative, and works with care and consistency.

You’ll be joining a team that values communication, effort and quality — and you’ll be supported by team leads who appreciate hard work and a good attitude.

About You

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:

  • Experience in assembly or general production work

  • A reliable, team-first attitude

  • Ability to follow instructions, show initiative and take ownership of tasks

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality

  • Willingness to work hard and support the team as needed

This role would suit someone from a manufacturing, mechanical assembly, or general production background.

Why Join Heatlie?

  • Full-time, stable employment with a respected SA business

  • Work with a small, supportive and highly skilled team

  • A positive environment where your work is noticed and appreciated

  • Early starts, great culture, and variety in your day

  • Free on-site parking
