Overview:

Are you a confident, customer-focused professional looking for your next opportunity in a busy automotive workshop? Pulse Automotive is looking for an Admin Assistant / Receptionist to be the friendly face and organisational backbone of the front office. You’ll greet customers, manage phones, keep job cards and invoices up to date, and help the team run smoothly day to day. Automotive knowledge is a bonus but not essential – full training is provided.

What we’re looking for:

  • Confident, professional and willing to learn
  • Able to take direction and feedback positively
  • Strong phone manner, comfortable handling multiple calls
  • Good attention to detail for job cards and invoicing
  • Automotive knowledge advantageous but not essential

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Greet customers on arrival and provide front-of-house administration/reception
  • Answer and manage incoming phone calls, including multiple calls where required
  • Prepare and update job cards and update invoices
  • Prepare basic quotations (training provided)
  • Contact customers regarding recommended work and provide pricing (training provided)
  • Upsell additional products and services where appropriate
  • Open and close the workshop when required

 

Experience and Training:

  • Good to have automotive experience
  • Training provided for quoting and pricing
  • Previous reception, admin or customer service experience helpful
  • Willingness to learn workshop processes and take on opening/closing duties
