We are seeking a dedicated Individual Support Trainer and Assessor to join our team. 

In this role, you will be responsible for bringing your disability and/or ageing care experience to delivering and assessing qualifications in individual support. Reporting to the RTO Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while providing comprehensive support to our students.

  • Deliver engaging training sessions.
  • Implement Enable College’s Training and Assessment Strategies with a focus on individual support.
  • Create personalised training plans to accommodate diverse learning styles and levels of ability.
  • Administer assessments and provide constructive feedback using approved tools.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of training delivery and assessment processes.
  • Foster open communication with students throughout their course duration.
  • Resolve any complaints or incidents following company procedures.
  • Contribute to moderation and validation sessions specific to disability support.
  • Monitor student welfare, attendance, and progress, reporting findings to the RTO Manager.
  • Participate in internal and external audits to uphold compliance standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues to ensure the success of our disability support programs.
  • Essential: TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivliant.
  • Relevant industry qualification at Certificate III level or higher (preferably Cet IV or higher), with a focus on disability and/or ageing care support.
  • Satisfactory Police Clearance and Working with Children Check (WWCC).
  • Proof of the right to work in Australia.
  • Recent, relevant industry experience in disability and/or ageing care support.
  • Strong communication skills, adaptability, and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in information technology and a customer service orientation.
  • Capacity to initiate and manage workflow, contextualizing training to meet the needs of individuals with disabilities.
